Linen fabric doesn't need any special or difficult care that we love so much about linen. For thousands years this natural fabric has been used as a textile and proved it's simplicity and ease of care. Here, we'll give you few easy tips to make your linen textiles look good for many years.

Why linen is better than cotton?

Linen is a very sustainable fabric that gets better with each wash. Traditionally in Europe it was common to inherit linen textiles from their parents.

Linen has a higher moisture absorbency than cotton and this is one of the keys to the longevity of linen fabrics.

Linen has almost twice the strength of cotton. 

Linen is much more environment friendly because needs far less water and chemicals to thrive.

How to wash linen?

Wash linen in soft water on mild warm temperature, 40C will be great.

Use the gentle machine cycle and a mild detergent to protect the fabric.

Feel free to use mild fabric softeners.

Don't bleach!

How to dry linen.

You can tumble dry your linen textiles freely on low temperature, delicate regimes.

Remove from the dryer when still slightly damp to avoid the linen becoming stiff.

Do I need iron linen?

Depends on what you want. Generally, linen doesn't require any ironing. Natural linen creases and crumples give that rustic relaxed feel most people love. But if you like, you can easily iron your linen textiles while the fabric is still damp with steam setting.
